Well they have reconstructed some of the hallways. As you step into the first class hallway and noises of the boat play through speakers surrounding you. The only words I can use to describe the feeling you get was eerie. You really almost have a momentary feeling of flight almost.
You aren't supposed to take cameras or pictures with your phone. They are very strict about that. But I did sneak this one. This is from the first class hallway.
As you arrive they give you a boarding pass with a name and little background of someone who was actually on the Titanic. You get to see lots of amazing things. There is a part, where you get to touch a piece of the Titanic and put your hands on an actual ice berg. It was really very awesome. As you are about to exit there is a list of all the passengers. You check your boarding pass and look for your name to see if you survived or died. This was an experience and totally worth the cost.
We then made our way out to the main museum and checked out all the dinosaurs and other creatures. My kids were very amused with themselves as were we.
The boys measuring themselves against a Narwhal's tusk, coming up short.
We didn't really get time to walk around the entire museum because, we also saw two shows at the OMNI IMAX which was crazy awesome. For those of you who don't know it's a dome and your seats are slightly reclined and the whole thing is a movie screen. It's insane.
It's Insane! We gave the kids some non drowsy children's Dramamine before we went in. Which I highly recommend because tons of people had to leave from motion sickness.
We had a blast. We actually bought a membership to the museum so we can go back anytime.
